When you hire Argento Photography to photograph your wedding, you are hiring the two of us for the entire day. Our Wedding pricing includes an unlimited amount of photographic coverage. This means that we are constantly taking pictures throughout the course of your wedding day. We do not set limits on time or image capture. Our goal is to tell the complete story of your day through the art of photography. We actually would like to think you are hiring us indefinitely. We would love to be your photographers for important future moments as well! We usually begin our friendships with the Bride and Groom by meeting at our studio/home. This is our chance to discuss what we do and find out what you are looking for. For couples planning from out of state it is not necessary for us to meet right away. We can always schedule a meeting for the next time you are going to be in town. Most of the planning aspects are handled Online anyway. We are very laid back and want to make the planning aspects of your wedding go as smooth as possible. Once couples book with us we send them a link to the Online Wedding Planner. This gives us all of the information we need to better prepare for your wedding day. If you have any questions in the time leading up to your wedding date, we are quick with the phone and even quicker with email...we are wedding experts!

On the day of your wedding, we will begin whenever you are ready for us. We can split up at the beginning of the day so that you have equal coverage of the guys and girls. Then, we would all meet back up at the ceremony location. Our coverage of the ceremony is complete without being obtrusive. We are generally taking pictures the entire time but try not to draw any attention. Right after the ceremony is usually when we take some formal pictures with the Bride and Groom's family right at the ceremony location. Then, between the ceremony and reception is when we will take pictures on location. We will go anywhere the limo goes! The photo locations are totally up to you. Sometimes there are great opportunities for pictures right at the reception venue. We can certainly lend our opinions and suggestions should you need them. Once we finish our location portraits we head over to the reception. At this point we no longer need your attention but may pull you aside if there is a great sunset. We will take pictures right until the last dance at the end of the reception but usually use our discretion and leave a little before that. If we feel the dance pictures are becoming redundant, we will approach you to make sure that there is nothing specific you would like us to photograph before we leave.

A few days after your wedding we will post about 20 pictures on our blog. This is a chance for you to get a sneak peek at the wedding when you return from your honeymoon! The next step in our process is to edit every image to maximize the color, contrast, and density. We also remove blemishes and some unwanted objects from the background. The editing process is time consuming and usually varies depending on our workload. When we have finished processing your images we will upload your full wedding gallery to www.ArgentoGalleries.com. The gallery will be private until you have had a chance to review it. Then, the password will be changed to your last name. Having an Online Gallery with all of your images means that you don't have to do any of the work. If the Brides family lives in New York and the Grooms family lives in California, everyone still has access to the images. All of the viewing and ordering can be done through us. A few weeks following the release of your online gallery we will send you the rest of your package. This will include your Image Catalog with numbered thumbnails and high resolution image files. Our number one goal as photographers is to creatively document one of the happiest days of your lives...while also enjoying the day with you as friends.

Engagement photo session by Mike & Jill Argento (exclusive to wedding clients) This is a great way to break the ice between you and the camera before your wedding in a more relaxed setting. On a day chosen by you and your fiance, we will come out to your house and/or other setting for a photo session. We have done engagement sessions anywhere from the city to the park...the family farm, and even the county fair! Following the photo shoot, you will receive 4x6 proof prints (delivered in a photo keepsake box) and a high-resolution DVD containing all of your images. Additional prints and products will be made available through our website to be ordered at your convenience.

Do you have photos of an entire wedding that I can see? You can view an entire wedding in our Client Galleries section. How many pictures will you take? We generally take about 3000-4000 image files home with us from a wedding and edit that number down to between 500-800 to be delivered to our clients. What happens if you can't make it to the wedding? If something catastrophic were to keep us from being able to photograph your wedding, we would find a suitable replacement. We are networked with hundreds of wedding photographers from all over the country. How many years have you been photographing weddings? We have been photographing weddings for over 5 years and shoot between 20-30 weddings per year. What do you charge for overtime? We do not charge for overtime. When you hire us we are yours for the day. That being said, if we start at 8am...we will be very tired by midnight :) Do you offer discounts? We don't set our price based on the amount of time we actually spend on the wedding day. Following the wedding there is a significant amount of post production work regardless if the day is 8 hours or 15. We also limit the amount of weddings we shoot each year so that we can devote our full attention to each client. We don't ever offer discounts with the exception of occasional print sales. Finding room in your budget for photography will be one of the best investments you can make. It will be one of the few things that you will be able to appreciate years after your wedding. We truly look at our relationships with clients as friendships and shoot every wedding intending to create art. How long will it take to receive our package? The editing process is usually finished within 8-10 weeks of the event or photo shoot. Once the editing process is complete, we upload the images to your online gallery. All products including prints, canvas, brag books, etc. are available for purchase immediately upon the release of your gallery. The rest of your package can be expected to be produced and shipped within 1 month of the release of your gallery. Please note: The time lines outlined above are estimates and vary based on our workload at the time of your event or photo shoot. We can always expedite special orders... for example: high resolution files to be used for thank you cards can be sent to our clients within a few days following your event or photo shoot.
