Emily & Evan
5-30-10   -   Weddings

Emily & Evan had their wedding at the amazing Belhurst Castle in Geneva, NY. It was a bright sunny day and perfect for a wedding. We first met Emily & Evan when we photographed their good friends Jill and Aaron last year. It was great to see everyone again and we were so excited for Emily & Evan!! They LOVE having their picture taken so that made for a very comfortable atmosphere. Once we finished getting some beautiful shots next to Seneca Lake...we all trekked back up the hill and into the reception. We had the pleasure of sitting next to the DJ and his assistant/wife...Steve and Amy for dinner. It's great to meet new vendors who are talented and great people. Steve's rig had to be one of the best sounding systems we have ever heard! I'm not sure if it was simply Steve's sound that did it, but we have NEVER seen as much dancing at a wedding.

Katie & Nick
5-29-10   -   Weddings

Katie & Nick's wedding day was more like a relaxing day off with friends. Only having met them once prior to the wedding day, it was amazing how easy it was to get along with them. They had a very intimate ceremony with just close family attending which was a nice change of pace. Following the ceremony we all went over to the park for some quick family shots...and then we got Katie and Nick all to ourselves! There was absolutely no pressure as we strolled around looking for cool spots to shoot which made for such an enjoyable afternoon. They are both accountants, so at one point we were talking about business and taxes and even THAT was fun! It was an amazing day that we will both remember for a long time :)

Meredith & Matt
5-22-10   -   Weddings

Meredith & Matt's wedding was another great one. The weather was in question all day with rain coming and going, but we were lucky enough to get some great shots in between showers. When we went to Niagara Square for some classic downtown Buffalo images, we just happened to run into our friends Rich & Alyssa from Nickel City Studios. It's nice to run into friends at work! After shooting downtown for a little while we all headed over to the Burchfield Nature Preserve for some greener looking pictures. Meredith & Matt's enthusiasm made our day so enjoyable! The rest of the festivities took place at the Millennium Hotel where the newly married couple joined with family and friends to celebrate their new life together.

Jodi & Jeremy
5-21-10   -   Weddings

Jodi & Jeremy's wedding was simply a wonderful day. We hadn't seen the two of them since their E-Session last winter and it was a pleasure to finally be shooting their big day in a warmer environment! Jodi doesn't hide the fact that she is a fan of Argento Photography. It is so awesome when our brides enthusiastically reference images we have taken from past weddings. It is good enough to be able to spend a day with a couple of great people on their wedding day...but it's an even more amazing feeling to be contributing to someones memories with every push of a button. Each shutter click is a potential conversation piece for future generations of this new branch on their family tree. That can be so rewarding, especially when we are capturing memories for people as adorable as Jodi & Jeremy.
